1. Describe your perfect team.

A team who supports one another and everyone appreciating that the success of the company depends on each other working together as a team, regardless of what role they carry out.  A team that shares ideas and compromises on decisions. Having a good sense of humour along the way always helps. We have a great Team at Realis who are all of the above.

To be able to play the piano!

3. What is the best thing you like best about your work?

The team I work with are brilliant. I really enjoy the variety in my role, dealing with the finances to project work. I particularly enjoy organising Realis’s corporate and social events and there are plenty of those to keep me busy!

4. What is your best personal achievement?

My children.

5. What is your favourite past time?

I love to read so when I have chance, I usually always have my Kindle to hand. I also love to play netball, which I do so every Thursday for the Pink Panthers Netball Team!

6. What is your favourite quote?

“Don’t take things too seriously”. I am still trying to live by this.

7. Which charity do you support and why?

I have supported many charities over the years, including Cancer Research and of course Acorns Children’s Hospice.

8. Who inspires you and why?

Definitely my children, Ashton and Autumn. My son plays for an Academy Football Club and was selected for the District and County team. My daughter is very passionate about dance and netball. They are both very passionate about sport and I am very proud of how hard they train each with as well as keeping on top of their home work!

9. Who’s influenced your career most and why?

Mr Aidan Cotter. When I started working at 16, he was the Coroner of Walsall and the Senior Partner where I worked. He sat me down and asked me what I wanted to do. Mr Cotter was the first person who took the time out to ask me. He put me through college and gave me the confidence to try something new.

10. What’s the best piece of advice you could give to someone?

Always believe in yourself, have confidence in your decisions, share your ideas and don’t worry about what anyone else thinks.

11. What car do you drive?

An Alfa Romeo Giulietta called Jess!

12. What’s on your desk?

The usual office/desk equipment, photos of my family, perfume, a cup of tea and lots of plastic wallets!

13. What’s your favourite holiday destination?

I really enjoy City breaks. I really enjoyed Paris and loved Venice; but nothing comes close to sipping a cocktail on a Caribbean beach!

14. What’s your favourite gadget?

Tough one; I love my Kindle but I really wouldn’t be without my iPhone – it’s everything all in one!
