Realis’s total for Acorns Children’s Charity tops £750,000

The property industry once again rallied behind Realis Estates’s popular Comedy Night on 3rd May 2017 taking the total amount the company has raised or saved for Acorns Children’s Hospice to over £750,000.

The event – now in its fourth year – was attended by over 250 people from the property world who enjoyed a drinks reception, dinner and a fantastic night of comedy all in aid of a great cause.  Guests once again showed their support by buying raffle tickets and bidding on the auction with a pair of tickets to Old Trafford and a Jessica Ennis-Hill shirt just two of the prizes up for grabs.

“Acorns is a wonderful charity and we are delighted to play a small role in helping it with its invaluable work supporting children and their families through what are very difficult times.”

Acorns Children’s Charity provides specialist care and support, fun and laughter for children and young people with life limiting or life threatening conditions and their families. In the last year, Acorns cared for 865 children and supported 1,088 families, including those who are bereaved across Birmingham, Coventry & Warwickshire, Walsall, Sandwell, Dudley, Wolverhampton, Worcestershire, Herefordshire, Gloucestershire, Staffordshire and Shropshire regions.
